The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is currently seeking a General Psychiatry Associate Program Director to join its faculty at a rank commensurate with experience. This will be a full-time, non-tenure track position. The Associate Residency Director reports directly to the Program Director. He/she together with the Program Director is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the four years of general psychiatry training. These include recruiting new residents, overseeing the seminars for all four years of training, discipline and remediation as needed, maintaining appropriate relationships with clinical partners, involving department faculty in residency teaching, ensuring compliance with the common and specialty specific requirements of the ACGME, and other resident career development activities as needed or as assigned by the Program Director. The incumbent will also provide direct clinical care in sites affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry.
