One of the leading Healthcare Services is currently seeking a Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join one of the reputable Hospitals located in Widnes.
The locked Hospital specialises in providing personalised rehabilitation for men and women with challenging and complex mental health needs and/or personality difficulties.

As the Clinical/Forensic Psychologist your duties will be to:
Provide evidence based psychological assessment
Provision of 1:1 and group interventions to patients to address a range of needs
Contribute to MDT care planning and review
Contribute to the CPA process
Contribute to professional development within the team
Contribute to audit and research as directed by the line manager
Engage in CPD
You will need the following qualifications and skills to be successful:
Accredited post-graduate qualification in Clinical or Forensic Psychology
Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) (or qualification pending)
The drive to learn and develop
A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
A flexible, positive, team-orientated approach
Experience of working with patients in a forensic mental health setting would be advantageous. With this role you will receive continuous learning and development and opportunities for career development.
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Clinical or Forensic Psychologist with a HCPC registration.
