One of our major clients in the Lorain county area is currently seeking a Crisis Clinician Team Leader. This is a full time permanent position that would entail 12 hour overnight shifts in a Mental Health Office setting. An absolute GREAT opportunity for the right candidate!
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide administrative supervision and leadership to the emergency/crisis staff on assigned shift. Assigns and delegates tasks to all emergency/crisis staff to ensure quality and timely response to client need and efficiency of staff resources. Provides crisis intervention and stabilization services for clients. Manages daily affairs for the team.
Employee must have a good knowledge of DSM IV, mental health assessments, crisis intervention techniques and psychotropic medications and some supervision skills. Must have good oral and written communication skills and ability to resolve conflict in working with community agencies, multidisciplinary teams and in dealing with the public on hotline calls. Must exhibit sensitivity to different cultures.
Must have Ohio LISW or LPCC license
Minimum of three years experience in mental health field and crisis intervention.
Supervisory experience required.
Basic computer skills required, including familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office.
Potential on-call requirements
Valid Ohio Driver's License with minimal points
