Director of Nursing Credentials Needed/Preferred
registered nurse (RN) with current licensure from the Ohio State Board of Nursing; Bachelor's/Masters' and current CPR
dedicated to working in a team environment collaborating with all levels of the organization; building consensus with others.
proven leadership and ability to effectively coach staff
proactive and creative communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; outgoing, friendly with sense of humor
5-10 years of progressively responsible nursing, managerial, and administrative experience
experience in a long term care setting and/or with individuals with disabilities; working knowledge of Medicaid and licensure rules and regulations
Our Director of Nursing will lead our Nursing department (approximately six supervisors and approximately 40 nurses) in the medical care of our residents and promote cooperation among all staff in our interdisciplinary team environment.
