Pharmacy Technicians will enter prescriptions while ensuring and verifying appropriate information, contact patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues, process prescriptions (from intake to order completion) and resolve any issues that arise.
Minimum of four years of Pharmacy related experience
Must be an actively Board/State certified Pharmacy Technician
Strong computer and telephone multitasking skills including: the ability to effectively search for and type information on the computer, navigate through multiple windows and screens quickly, and inputting information accurately while keeping pace with the call
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive Responsibilities:
Provide an accurate and thorough explanation of medications, instructions, claims, and verify accurate information
Responsible for responding to patients in a timely, professional, and courteous manner
Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods of close vision looking at a computer monitor Preferred Qualifications:
