Applewood Centers is currently looking for social workers and/or mental health counselors to work in our residential services program. The Licensed Group Facilitator is responsible for the development, implementation and co-management of group curricula and treatment of youth referred to the Residential Treatment and Day reporting programs. Specific responsibilities include treatment planning in accordance with client needs, group facilitation, client supervision during, assistance with crisis intervention and problem resolution, timely completion of daily progress notes and other required documentation.
Residential services provides structured, therapeutic group programming to youth who's emotional and behavioral needs significantly interfere with their ability to function successfully in family, school and/or community settings.
Interested candidates should have a valid and currently active license to practice social work and/or clinical mental health counseling in the State of Ohio. Experience in working with children in a structured treatment setting and/or a Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling is preferred.
